정기준은 인간을 비롯한 모든 사물은 눈에 ‘보이는 게 다가 아니다’라는 사유에서 출발한다. 진정한 아름다움은 표면에 있지 않다는 것. 화끈하고 아찔한 색상과 극적인 화면 구성을 통해 시각을 넘어 촉각적 세계를 열어 주고 있다. 토마토를 깨트림으로써 사물의 본질을 탐구하는 시도이다.
Jung Ki-jun starts from the thought that 'all things including humans are not defined by everything you see'. True beauty is not on the surface. It opens up a tactile world that goes beyond the visual through its hot and dizzying colors and dramatic screen composition. It is an attempt to explore the essence of things by breaking tomatoes.
